Rob Whelan received his BSC(Arch) from UNSW in 1980. He worked with a number of Architectural practices until joining Dow Chemical Australia in their building products division. He then (in 1986) joined AW Edwards as Development Manager for 3 years, then was with Leightons and later with Marsim Corp. before starting Advanced Building Inspections in 1993.

Rob has completed over 6000 building and pest inspections and is an expert in older houses.
